Wagner WW2 German Kriegsmarine (KM) Watch

The Wagner wristwatch was a type of wristwatch that was issued to the Kreigsmarine (German Navy) during World War II. These watches were produced by the German watch manufacturer Helmut Wagner, which was founded in 1920 in Pforzheim, Germany. The company produced a variety of timepieces, including marine chronometers and other precision instruments, and it was one of the main suppliers of wristwatches to the Kreigsmarine during the war.

The Wagner wristwatch was designed to meet the specific needs of the Kreigsmarine and was intended for use by officers and other personnel. The watches were typically made of stainless steel and featured a simple, clean design with a white dial and black Arabic numerals. Many models also included a subdial for tracking seconds. The watches were also equipped with luminous hands and hour markers for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

Today, original Wagner wristwatches from World War II are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of military timepieces. However, due to their rarity and historical significance, they can be quite expensive and difficult to obtain.

It features a plated case with a stainless steel snap back. The 15 jewels manual-wind movement is made by Urofa company (Uhren Rohwerke Fabrik) and is square shaped instead of being round. Dial is marked 'KM Wagner' while caseback is stamped with serial number '605475'.
